Disaster Response & Preparedness

Disaster Response and Preparedness focuses on reducing human impact of natural hazards, supporting local communities to become less vulnerable and coordinating needed response in times of disaster.

Last January 2022, our very first project was a disaster response for the residents of Talibon, Bohol.

The municipality was badly ravaged by the Typhoon Odette the previous month that the locals still had a hard time recuperating. Houses were swept away, crops and livelihood were destroyed.

In response to this, we coordinated the disaster response to help fifty-two families by distributing relief packs and house repair materials.
